And just because I hate to not post a picture, this is my oldest hamming it up at the park.
It's been about a week since I made anything new. It's not for a lack of needing to get things done or ideas. My husband's cousin got married, there are birthdays coming up- I have about 6 in the first 2 weeks of March alone. Plus, I have supplies for new ideas for the shop. But, with sick kids, trying to get Chrispalooza (I'm taking hubby away for his birthday--shhh, it's a surprise) organized as well as a myriad of other things, I just haven't done much. So, time to get cracking!
I made two of these cards for some little guys in our lives. One is my nephew who just turned 2 and another is for some friends who's little one turned 1 recently. I used the same layout as Rocket Man in my last post. This layout works great for this set. It is called "Pun Fun" and is from Stampin' Up!. All the stamps are roughly the same size which is about 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/1 inches so this layout works nicely.
This is a cute card I made for a boy in my son's class who recently had a birthday. What little boy does not love rocket ships? I think the circle paper helps with the outer space feel of it. You can find it in my etsy shop if you have a little Rocket Man of your own!

This is my Valentine's Day present. It is from Created By Risa's lovely shop. Risa and I were featured in the same beautiful treasury and I hearted this beautiful necklace. I commented that briefly to my husband that you can view other people's favorite items about 2 months ago. Well, he set up an etsy account, browsed my favorites, set up a conversation with Risa and purchased this. She even sent this to my house using her husband's name so I wouldn't get suspicious when I saw who it was from! So, not only did he do good, but Risa showed just what stellar customer service Etsians are all about. Go ahead check out her shop and give it some love.
Thursday was such a beautiful day that a bunch of us from the mom's group met at the park for lunch and to let the kids play after school. Molly, our resident photographer brought her camera and took this of my son Stas and her daughter Lauren sitting on the swing together. Is it too early for china patterns?
Stasiu, my 4 year old handed out his first class Valentines today. At first I was going to make them entirely but we received a note from the teachers stating that they wanted the students to write whom the Valentines were for as well as have each student sign them. So that changed my overall design.
